New song Happy Place - Oct 1
This fingerpicking acoustic guitar instrumental was composed on a cruise ship exploring the islands of the South Pacific.
I’d visited Vanuatu a number of times, and was always taken by the joyous sound of the string bands, and their traditional songs influenced my ‘Happy Place’. I grew up near the ocean and the beaches of the Illawarra region (NSW, Australia), and being near (or on) the ocean is my personal happy place.
Incidentally, Vanuatu is often called 'The Happiest Place on Earth'
