Hello everyone,
Well, what a year it's been…hasn't it just flown by?
I've been back one week from my Europe tour - it was a fantastic trip - and my heartfelt thanks go out to all those people in Germany, Austria, and the Netherlands who came to the concerts.
Your energy and enthusiasm makes it all worthwhile.
In addition to my solo concerts, I shared stages, cars, & vans with a truly wonderful collection of people; thanks for your incredible musicianship, and all the fun & laughter Tommy Emmanuel, Adam Rafferty, Jens Kommnick, John Goldie, Peter Finger, Sandor Szabo, Zane Charron. I enjoyed each & every moment I spent with you!
Some tour pics: with Tommy Emmanuel, Bochum..."something in the way she moves..."
International Guitar Night, Halle, John Goldie, Zane Charron, Peter Finger...trying to look serious...
Atmospheric, (haunted?) venue in Spittal, the cellar of a 16th century castle...after hearing chairs scraping while I was practicing (supposedly alone), the power mysteriously went down during Remembering Ray...
A couple of news items..
My final concerts for 2015:
this Saturday Dec 6, Up Front Club, 31 Maple St. Maleny. The fun begins at 7.30pm
Dec 14 I'll be joining Nadia Sunde & Paul Robert Burton for the Coolangatta Christmas Carols Concert.
Festivities begin at 5pm, Queen Elizabeth Park, corner McLean Street and Marine Parade, Coolangatta
'Young Gun' the Lines & Spaces album opener is a finalist in the 2015 CMAA awards Best Instrumental category. (Winners are announced in Tamworth, January 24)
BTW, TAB/notation of Young Gun will be added any day now, other titles from Lines & Spaces coming soon.
Don't forget: you can do your Christmas shopping on-line at my store. CDs, book/DVD's, music/TAB downloads (new titles will be added in coming weeks!)
So my friends, I'd like to take this opportunity to wish each and every one of you a wonderful festive season, and a happy new year!
Finally, here's a little Christmas tune I recorded a a few years back...
